NHS changes of concern to Coeliacs
An item of major concern to UK Coeliacs, is the planned change to what you will be allowed to order as prescription medicine, currently over 200 items to choose from, will be reduced to 12 breads and 4 flours, no pastas, pizza bases, biscuits, no fresh bread, although apparently accepted by CUK, we are contesting this strongly with our local Primary Care Trust and the South Coast NHS Alliance.
Proposed 16 items available as prescription medicine.
